One of the biggest fears I had about my bilateral mastectomy was how I would ever look normal again. I was a DD, and dreaded the idea of two prostheses that would be realistic yet comfortable. Thank you so much for my KK’s, knitted by Sylvia in CA. I love them! The prostheses I wear (wore) weigh 12 oz each; my KK’s weight 2 oz each. That makes a tremendous difference, since my skin is very tight and there is a lot of scar tissue built up on the side where I had radiation. My KK’s are lightweight, fit nicely into the bras designed to hold prostheses, are quite comfortable and look good. Thank you again.
