I can NOT say enough how grateful I am to the lovely people that make the knitted knockers!! I am a breast cancer survivor with a double mastectomy. I have the prosthetic breasts but can not tolerate the weight of them along with how they make me sweat. The knitted knockers are a Godsend! They are easy to wash and to place into my bra. Looks just like normal and SO COMFORTABLE!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I got my first set almost 2 years ago and ordering a new set now. Can’t wait for my new knockers!!
A five star salute. I have hated going out in public in warm weather for the last 10 years because the prostheses are so heavy inside the mastectomy bras. Fall and winter jackets and coats allow me to hide the fact that I no longer have breasts. I find the prostheses VERY uncomfortable, and I sweat profusely while wearing them. I also avoid mirrors because I can’t adjust the prostheses so that both breasts appear to be the same size.
I am totally wowed by the lightness and adjustability of the knockers.
Thank you to each and every volunteer knitter and to the Knitted Knockers organization for helping to get the knockers into the hands of those of us who are just now finding a wonderful new solution to a major problem for ladies who did not opt for breast reconstruction after mastectomies.
Love to all!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I have tried every kind of prosthesis imaginable and knitted knockers are the BEST!!! Cool, comfortable, convenient, and durable…..they are awesome. I am 3 years out from my initial
mastectomy and these are wonderful when your skin is still healing. Thank you for this amazing product. A true God send for us cancer survivors who have gone through so much already!!!
A big thank you to Gillian George. My lovely parcel arrived with a wonderful gratitude stones. I will have them in my pocket when I go for surgery next week. Thank you so so much xxx
Received my knitted knockers today, they are wonderfully comfortable. I just wanted to say thankyou to all you lovely ladies who give your time and your skills to make them. My prosthetic was so cumbersome and was a constant reminder of my surgery but wearing them today felt so more natural. Thank you Doreen, your little added gift really put a smile on my face and smiles have been rare in recent months as as well has my breast cancer my mum has terminal lung cancer. It truly is a wonderful service that you provide.
I had a mastectomy just over 4 weeks ago and whilst I heal it is difficult to even wear the soft prosthetic they gave me as I am quite bruised. I have ordered a knitted and aqua knocker and have just received my Aqua Knockers from Sarah.
It was beautifully wrapped with a knitted heart and some chocolates and a personal note. Not only is it so lovely and soft and easier to wear but knowing it was caringly made and packaged gives you a warmth of heart that is most welcome at such a difficult time. It will be worn often and treasured always whether swimming or just resting by the fire. Thank you Sarah. Order A1710042
I just wanted Barbra to know that I am from New Castle Pa and I met with Peggy Larsen yesterday she ran down to meet with me providing me with a pair Love them she also told me whatever I needed she was there I am going to let my Doctors know that these are available in our area what a wonderful group❤️
I wanted to let everyone know that I “LOVE” my new knitted knocker! I have been two years w/o a good alternative. I have a very deep scar because of a botched implant, and most things I can afford don’t work well.
My PT girl hooked me up with you and I can’t thank her enough. Now I can’t thank you ladies enough. Thank you. I’m going to wear it out pulling it out and showing my lady friends!!!
I just wanted to say thank you to all who are making these awesome knitted knockers and sending them to women like myself. I love mine and they came just in time after my surgery and saved me the embarrassment of looking so totally lopsided. I love you all and what you are doing is so incredibly amazing and so helpful to so many women. Thank you a million times over and God Bless you all for what you do!!
Thank you to Stephanie of the Chin Chuck Sisters Knitting Group in Captain Hook, Hawaii for my knitted knockers. They are wonderful! I received them just a few weeks after ordering. With minimal adjusting they work perfectly in my favorite bra. I have been spreading the word about these to all I know who still use the heavy and uncomfortable prosthesis. Keep up the good work.
