I am the mother of Brenda Woods and we found your knitted Knockers on the internet and we ordered Brenda her knitted Knockers and was very pleased with them!
I am sorry to have to say Brenda lost her battle to recurrence of breast cancer this past Dec 16,2019
I just want you to know she felt very comfortable wearing her knitted knockers. They were light in weight and went in her bra comfortable It brightened her life up once again after having a Mastectomy in 2017 ! I have a few friends that I had the privilege to tell them about your knitted knockers and they will be in touch with your organization
You have a beautiful testimony and how this all began! Thank you for caring about all these women ,giving them back their life. I know Brenda would want me to let you know how much she appreciated them! God bless you and all those who volunteer knitting or /and crocheting them !
Brenda is now in her permit home in heaven! She was ready. She was 57 years old.
I Brenda’s mother would love to learn how to crochet or knit these and volunteer to make them for women in memory of our precious daughter ! You have my permission to share this testimony. I am not sure if you will accept this testimony seeing Brenda is deceased!
Thank you once again for making our daughter so happy when she received her knitted knockers.
I want to show appreciation to all you wonderful people who dedicate and take the time to supply a wonderful breast replacement to women who are going through such a stressful and emotional time. And for FREE. I have used one this past year and I am getting ready to have the second implant removed. I tell and show every one about your wonderful service. They are by far the way to go. I may have to learn to knit one of these days so I can be a part of such a caring group of people. I am ordering another set for everyday and one for swimming. I will also donate to your cause as I have in the past. You should all be so proud. You have made an incredible difference in my life.
In December of 1999 I had a mastectomy of my right breast. I have gone braless all this time due to ill fitting and uncomfortable fitting prothessis that I just couldn’t or feel comfortable. I just got tired of being lopsided. Well I recently ordered from you (knitted knockers) wore it and absolutely loved it….so comfortable to wear.
Thank you so much hope to so many warriors and survivors!
I had a mastectomy of the left breast at the beginning of December. As I’m healing, I started looking for options so I could be balanced. I was having a hard time finding padding that was comfortable and would often have to go without anything. Looking around online, I was feeling discouraged because I didn’t want to get anything that was going to be more painful as well as not fit right. I did see Knitted Knockers but not the website so I didn’t quite get it and when you are down sometimes you think everything is going to be terrible.
Well, my Aunt got me a pair and they are awesome! I was so surprised at how they hold their shape and how adjustable they are, incredible! I wear just one, in a bra without underwire but with a liner, and it looks like my natural side. I can adjust it as needed and if feels amazing! Everything else was so irritating and super uncomfortable. I’m so happy my Aunt got them for me. Thank you so much to everyone who makes them and to everyone who makes them available.
Love, Rosalyn
I cannot thank you enough for my knitted knockers! Not only are the beautiful they are light weight and adjustable! My double mastectomy is 12/18/19 thank you so very much!
I am being pro active. On Oct. 24 I had both breast remove, my family history is high and the genetic testing was really high, the pathology report came back that is was Stage A pre cancer so my decision to this was confirm.I saw knitted knockers back in July and started making some.
So after I was release from hospital on the 25th. Hubby went to Cox Medical Supply to pick up a care package, to my surprise I started laughing because in it was 2 sets of knitted knockers. I want to thank you all for the great work you do, and I will be making alot of knockers.
To who ever made mine I feel the love in each stitch and THANK YOU so much for taking the time to make them.
My knitted knocker arrived today within a very short time of me ordering it. I was absolutely delighted. It is beautifully knitted and presented and I am so grateful to the person who took the time and trouble to knit it for me. After my clinical care it was lovely to receive something that was so warm and comforting. Thank you.
I received my knitted knockers a couple months ago. They have made such a big difference for me. After a mastectomy, I had an expander put in for the reconstruction phase. The knitted knockers are so well thought out for their purpose. Being able to adjust them, by adding and removing the stuffing made it easy to adjust to the size needed to keep me even while being expanded. They are so light, soft and beautifully done. During a discussion, I told my radiation oncologist about them. He had never heard of them. He was so impressed after showing it to him. He wanted to get on your provider list, knowing your product would be a great benefit for many of his patients. Thank you to all those who take the time to make the knitted knockers. You make such a difference in the lives of many. Thank you to the one who took the time to make my life so much more bearable during a rough time. I am so grateful to you.
I requested a knitted and an aqua knocker, the orders were combined so that they’d both be knitted by the same person – and they arrived together within just one week!
I’ve had and used them for a few weeks now – I’m still having treatment so not allowed to swim, but have been able to gently exercise using the aqua knocker.
These are super-comfy, and are quick and easy to insert with minimal adjusting required – and look so natural, I find myself trying to adjust my remaining boob alongside my knitted one 🙂
I ordered these for my daughter who had a double Masectomy, they came in 3 days, there pink, beautifully packaged, and she called me when she got home and said there perfect, she loves them, Thank you so much, your all a Godsend, lotsa of love 😘
