I want to give each and every angel who volunteers to provide these wonderful Knockers to us a special thank you!! These are a comfortable and easy solution to those of us who need these special forms to feel and look good. You should know that the time you take to make the Knockers and send them along is appreciated more than you know. I have had requests fulfilled over time by three special ladies. I’m touched by your kindness and generosity. A special thank you to Dale, Kitty and Jeanne. Be safe and be well.
I received my beautiful knitted knockers from Margaret, with clear instructions for adjusting them (none needed – they were perfect!) and a personal note sent with so much love from one woman to another. I have worn the ‘normal’ knocker virtually every day and it is so much lighter and more comfortable than my (expensive) prosthesis, and I can’t believe how perfect the aqua knocker is for swimming – it stays put when my other one dragged down in a wet costume, keeps it’s shape wet and dry, and dries perfectly. As an active 40 something who has been through cancer treatment I cannot tell you how happy I am on both a practical and personal level, thanks so much, I am in awe of everyone involved <3
Received my order and a lovely note from Jennifer in Connecticut today. They are so soft and beautiful and really comfy! This is a wonderful service that your organization and volunteers provide and I am very appreciative. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for my Knitted Knocker! It is very comfortable and I am able to wear more outfits since it looks very natural. I wanted to write a thank you to the person who made mine, but lost the address. They were from Newnan, Georgia, I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.
I got my double mastectomy four weeks ago and have been feeling very self conscious and sad. I got my knitted knockers in the mail yesterday! They are wonderful. Soft, light on the fresh scars and I am on the road to feeling beautiful again. Thank you!
Received my Knitted Knockers last week and am really thrilled with them .Had a mastectomy in 2011 and struggled with a prosthesis as I had problems with arm swelling with lymph node removals. My Knockers are a joy to wear. Thank you to all the lovely volunteers. You are Angels. Kind regards. Colleen May.. 🧚♀️🧚♀️
I just had a Mastectomy 3 weeks ago.
I know I wasn’t interested in reconstruction surgery, but I wasn’t sure what my next step would be.
When I went to my Post-op appointment I was given a pamphlet about Knitted Knockers. As soon as I read it I went to the website and ordered a pair. I was surprised to receive them the next week along with a very sweet card from Jane B from AL. I reached out to her & thanked her.
This is a wonderful idea & I’m glad I benefitted from it.
After a bilateral mastectomy in March, I am still struggling with healing (some complications) and only KKs are comfortable enough for me to wear. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking time from your busy lives to knit these perfect-solution prosthetics!!! Keep up the good work and I’ll continue to spread praises for your organization.
I am a knitter of knockers and thank you writers for your comments as they help me to continue to create these.
reminded of the very real significance each one has in someone’s daily life. Blessings to you for your health and your love of family and friends and your skilled healthcare team.
These women are angels! They are the best — and Knitted Knockers are the best! They are comfortable and light and made with love! Thank you so much for all you do!
