Well today my kk came. Just wanted to cry. So soft and feel so happy. Some people won’t understand how it makes us ladies feel. My friend told me about kk I will be so very grateful. Thank you again xxx

I just received my knitted knockers and I am so happy I could cry. I had a mastectomy in January. I could not get fitted for a prosthesis until 6 weeks post op and then it takes weeks to make it. I have been wearing a sports bras with a round pad from the hospital. It has been so uncomfortable! My KK is so soft against my incision. I love the weight and I can wear a normal bra. Bless all you angels who knit these and provide them for free. You’ve made an immediate difference in my life. Thank you so much!

I was so happy to receive my kk after my left breast mastectomy in January, 2022. It is soft and very comfortable to wear. Thank you and bless the kk volunteers.

I had double mastectomy with lymph node removal and 25 rounds of radiation with 5 additional boost ending in August of 2021. The radiation caused significant nerve damage. I have tried all sorts of prosthetic’s, trying to find one that is comfortable. All caused me significant pain and discomfort. I stumbled across the knitted knockers and decided to try a pair. What a difference! I am no longer in pain when wearing a bra. I am actually very comfortable now. The KK’s are so soft. They have literally changed my life. I am so thankful for the KK’s. Thank you Ladies. I am so grateful.

Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and kindness.
I received a knitted breast prosthesis at ORCI (Tanzania) on 10/02/2022; following mastectomy in January 2022 at Muhimbili National Hospital and after completing 4 initial courses of Chemo at ORCI.
Am so happy, you have made my life back to normal.
May you continue to reach more women who are in need.
Thank you!
Kate

Thank you so much to all the women who put their time and love into making the knitted knockers. After having a bilateral mastectomy in December I was happy to have these to return to work at the end of January.

I knitted these bottom up using Magic Loop circular method using baby Merino wool and mix of fine Merino/Silk/Cashmere yarn (I am in NZ and yet to find a soft enough cotton yarn). I have been issued with Anita pocket bra’s that are ill fitting (due to the style, sides dug in being too narrow across my chest and accentuating axillary fat even though I am described as slim) and silicone prostheses.
I purchased regular padded bras and made further knitted knocker sets in smaller sizes, also significantly reducing the fill from what the video suggests and perfection has been achieved. Great to wear something that is soft and comfortable plus has a good appearance in a firm fitting top. I submit this testimonial in the event there are others who the pocket bras are not designed for. Regular padded bras and lightly filled Knitted Knockers work very well.

My niece works at a nursing home and a woman there (age 90) somehow deflated her prosthesis. (Not sure what it was). She has dementia and was inconsolable. Her nearest relative was two states away. It was Saturday night. My niece called me because I knit/crochet and have done these before. I whipped one out and took it through a snow storm to get it to the woman. My niece called me later to let me know that it was the only thing that calmed the woman down. It is an experience I’ll never forget and I’m grateful to you for providing the patterns.
