Twenty three years ago I had a double mastectomy. At the time I was fortunate to have insurance to cover the cost of the expensive prosthetics. However, several years ago the weight of those was way to much for my chest. Today, a wonderful neighbor brought me two Knitted Knockers from Apple Yarns. I love them. They are so soft against my skin–and so light weight. I cannot begin to thank everyone enough. To me this is a miracle gift. I sent an email out with this website to pass on this most thouhhtful idea. Thank you.

I have tried many different prosthesis, nothing is as comfortable as my knitted knockers. They are cute and comfortable and fit nicely in the pockets of my sports bra. Thank you so very much for giving me some comfortable curves back.

I have received my knitted knocker. The personal touch was very welcome. Please thank Ruth for the time she has given making me feel more comfortable. It is much lighter than my prosthesis and so much more comfortable when doing exercise especially when lymphodemia makes my arm feel heavy. Also great when playing the ukulele as they squash more like a real boob :-). I cannot recommend these enough and have already encouraged a friend to get one.

These knitted knockers are amazing! My Grammie heard about knitted knockers from a friend. After the prosthetic inserts and special mastectomy bras we were willing to try anything more comfortable. We live in Florida and the summer heat is not conducive to wearing hot heavy inserts. I quickly googled and found the site. The ease of ordering was incredible! She received her knockers within a week and I can’t explain the change. She is free. She can buy comfortable bras again! She’s ready to swim and take on life! She can wear the clothes she wants. We are recommending these to EVERYONE. When we shop she can’t stop telling people about the knitted knockers! 🙂 Thank you so much for letting her live freely again!

I received my knitted knockers in the mail today. They are amazing! Not at all how I expected a prosthesis to feel. They’re easy to wear and I instantly look like my old self again. I’m 3 weeks post bilateral mastectomy and they don’t bother my scar at all. I want to say a Hugh thanks to whoever it was that took the time, energy, and money to make them for me!

I want to thank you for my Knitted Knocker. I have been without one breast for over a year now. I have worn the heavy DD prostatic for way too long now. I saw you on facebook and immediately ordered mine. What a difference, I can’t believe how comfortable and light weight it is. I saw these on morning TV Just after my double mastectomy and requested a pair which came and I love then I saw the Aqua ones , going away for a short break and there is an hot tub so ordered some they arrived yesterday and are great,thanks to Louise McCullough for taking the time to knit them and the lovely key ring .thank you very much Diane xxxxx
