I just heard about the knockers you are making for women like me. I am a 3 year breast cancer survivor. It has been a rough journey for me, my mother passed away March 2013 & in June 2013 I found out I had breast cancer. My prosthesis drives me crazy, it’s too heavy & very uncomfortable to wear. When I don’t wear it, I feel embarrassed to go outside, I’m afraid someone will notice. I can’t wait to get my knocker, I am looking forward to wear it. I would like to thank all of you wonderful ladies for putting your love into making these, it is very special to so many women. God bless you all!!!!

Just received my knitted knockers today and immediately pulled out my new coobie bras. I felted as though my prayers had been answered. No more uncomfortable bras and no more suffering through the heaviest of silicone. A heartfelt thank you to all your volunteers that help B/C women on their long journey.

Thank you so much for creating “Knitted Knockers”! I love it so much. They are so comfortable and now I can wear normal clothes and no one knows I only have one breast.

I had a double mastectomy in January 2016 and the silicone pads were uncomfortable and moved around. I saw an article in the Sarasota Herald (FL) newspaper about two 89 year old women who were doing this and called them (they said hurry, they were getting old). I went to their house and was fitted with beautiful peach knockers that are fabulous! I can go swimming, they don’t ride up, I never even know they are there. Big thanks to the organization and all they do, I have been spreading the word, to women who need them and knitters.

I received mine in the mail right before I was going out to dinner for the first time since my operation. It was perfect and gave me a boost of confidence to face the evening. It was a bright spot in a very gloomy time for me. Thank You.

I am 20 yrs post-op (Modified Radical Mastectomy with reconstruction) living with “reconstructive failure”. As I have aged and gained weight my right breast grew with me… my reconstructed breast however stayed the same and I was left with a BIG discrepancy in size. I’ve used everything, including a soft sock to augment – AND THEN I SAW YOU ON FACEBOOK – I sent for my own knitted knocker AND I AM BEYOND PLEASED!!!!! It was a pretty beige, the yarn was SO SOFT, and the shape was perfect for ALL of my bras! I removed quite a bit of stuffing and shifted what was left around to form over my implant, and the result is PERFECT… AND COMFORTABLE. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! I will be sending a donation to support your wonderful work shortly. 🙂
