Thank you very much for my knitted aqua Knocker. I can’t express how much it means to me to be able to get back to swimming and some normality. It feels so comfortable and looks so ” normal” that I don’t think anyone at the gym has noticed any difference. The kind words of encouragement from the lovely lady who made my aqua Knocker were very much appreciated.

I love my knitted knockers and the ladies that provide them.
My husband pretty much tells the way we feel in this poem he wrote..
Knock Knock
You’ve heard the word knockers but do you know what it means
It’s used a couple of different ways in varying extremes
One mounted on a door let’s you know when someone’s there
The others are on a woman’s chest and the two do not compare
They’re all different shapes and sizes different colors too
The door knocker you can pick the other’s aren’t up to you
You can change a door’s knocker as often as you like
To change a woman’s knockers the cost is out of sight
A woman may need a knocker if one has been removed
Before it can be delivered it may have to get approved
There are different knockers to help you fill in the space
One I’d never heard of quickly put a smile on my face
It’s a Knitted Knocker because it’s knitted out of yarn
They’re made by Special Ladies who really give a darn
To some it’s just a knitted form with filling placed inside
To those who really need one it will help restore their pride
If you like the water you’ll need one that’s quick to dry
There’s a swimming knocker that you should keep close by
If you wash your Knitted Knocker please do so with care
Don’t put it in the dryer you’ll end up with a lopsided pair
Thanks to all who spend their time making Knitted Knockers as a gift
They sure do come in handy for those who could really use a lift
If you lose a knocker either by accident or disease
Pray for Knitted Knockers next time you are on your knees

We have shared this with family , friends and medical staff. They all wanted a copy. I hope it will brighten someone’s day, just like Knitted Knockers did mine.

I got my knitted knockers a few months ago and feel so complete with them on. I had a double mastectomy in Feb. and was discouraged by the silicone prosthetics they were so heavy and hot. I have given all the info to all of my Drs involved in my care and they think this Organization is the best and I totally agree. I feel the love that was put into them as they were made Thank you so much

I received my knockers four weeks post mastectomy in Abuja, Nigeria in April, 2018. I was so thrilled and pleasantly surprised. They have been a blessing especially as breast forms are not easily accessible in Nigeria.

Thank you

Thank you so much. I have tried various options since having my mastectomy but nothing was comfortable. I heard about Knitted Knockers from my sister and ordered some two weeks ago as we are going on holiday this summer. The parcel arrived last week, I was apprehensive about how they would feel having tried other options but I needn’t have worried, so comfortable, my confidence is back and I am looking forward to our family holiday and being able to wear the clothes I haven’t worn for a while. Thanks for all the good work you do.

My breast surgeon gave me one because I was just using a sock, I have an implant in one side ,the other side got infected and was removed and I just never got a new one put in so I used my husbands socks. These are great looks better than a sock I’m so happy! It fills in better more realistic! Thank you for whoever sent her some I will be ordering more! I don’t knit but I would like to make a donation so you can keep helping women!
Thank you,

I ordered a knitted knocker for my Mum, when it arrived it was well presented in its own little bag with a small knitted heart. It also had a lovely handwritten note from the volunteer called Meriel. Mum loves it, it fits well and comes with extra padding if needed and can also remove padding to suit your needs. Putting in an order for a 2nd one in another colour shortly! We have donated by paypal to this well deserved charity.

Thank you very much.
