I would like to say a huge thank you to “Christine” who knitted me my knockers 😍. They was a surprise gift from my partner to which having had a mastectomy in 2014. I did not know about these, and have worn the sponge ones for 4years. These knitted ones are so comfortable and truly amazing. I have to say I am in complete “awe” that you ladies do this charitable knitting within your time to enable us ladies that have lost our breasts to the “C” to remain feeling feminine. Not only are they comfortable but they are also pretty to look at. Many thanks again, I love them and many thanks for the personalization that went into my knitted knockers, love the water ones as going on the beach I had always been “shy” #knittedknockers😍

My Aqua Knocker arrived this morning and could I please thank Christine R so much…it’s beautiful and actually made me cry! I have had breast cancer twice now and am awaiting a second mastectomy which, fingers crossed, will take place early next year  a preventative procedure)! I may then be ordering a complete new pair of knitted knockers. I moved south just recently and found an article about you on Facebook. I was diagnosed with cancer in 1996 then again 2015 and never realised a brilliant charity was literally on my doorstep in Southport near where I used to live! Thank you so very much for being there it means a lot! X

Thank you so much! I had my mastectomy surgery 2 years ago. I have tried alot of other options and can not find anything comfortable to wear that I feel confident wearing. Now I wear my knitted knocker everyday. The knitted knockers feel so soft and nice. You guys are life savers. This is a wonderful organization. Thank you,

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2017. Due to family history, several biopsies and the type of breast cancer, I decided on a Bilateral Masectomy after 6 months of Chemo and my tissue came back after surgery that I was a high candidate for return. I did make the best decision. I didn’t want to go through surgery and have reconstruction done. So I tried silicone. They were hot & heavy. I bought a Cobie bra with a pocket and the Cancer center had Knitted Knockers so I thought I’d try them. I love them they are comfortable and natural looking and they stay put. Thank you so much to every volunteer that makes these. I am so very grateful.

After my surgery I went back to going without a bra and most people didn’t really notice. Then my granddaughter had her wedding and I did not want to look bad or distract from her on her day. Thank goodness you sent me a set and I adjusted one and even put a silver dollar in it for just a little weight and with my sports bra under my suit nobody noticed that I was missing one breast. I danced and had a great time. Thank you all for doing this for us.

Dear Barbara,
I can’t thank you enough for getting me started with a knitted knocker in 2014 when I had a mastectomy. You hurried up and sent me one just before I had my surgery. I was so grateful at that time as I did not know anything about Knitted Knockers, now I spread the word wherever I go and have had several friends making them. I can’t thank you enough for contacting me in Florida in 2014.
