Phone: (925) 212-5158
I have a small store and workshop on my ranch. I sell yarn, fiber and wool for spinning, my hand-dyed yarn and handmade items. Several times a year I hold food drives for the local food bank: every can of food makes the giver eligible for one of several door prizes. My husband and I also give tours of the ranch and are very service oriented.
We believe in helping the community when we can. I could like to add ‘knitted knockers’ to the small list of things we like to do, such as lap robes for the VA Hospital and food for the food banks.
I have several friends that are breast cancer survivors.
After Christmas will be a great time for me begin this new project.
Thank you for beginning this wonderful program and project.

It is important that as many people as possible get to know the pattern to knit the knitted knockers. So the Dutch pattern had priority on our website

KK mostly can be used in a normal bra and they are permanently adaptable, so also after/during reconstruction). They can also be used in a swimsuit, because the stuffing is waterproof. It is important that as many people as possible get to know the pattern to knit the knitted knockers. So the Dutch pattern had priority on our website

We are a group of knitters and crocheters widely scattered throughout southwest Virginia who enjoy making knockers for women in our communities. In addition to filling orders placed online, we supply knockers to six cancer centers in Roanoke, Lynchburg and surrounding areas. Christine Slade organized Knitted Knockers Roanoke in 2016 after she experienced the comfort of using these wonderful soft breast prosthetics herself. In the spirit of “women helping women”, and in Chris’s honor, we continue to make knockers and fill orders from across Virginia. Many LYS are supporting the knitted knockers effort, and Yarn Explosion in Roanoke is our official sponsor. YE always has a supply of knockers for those who want to stop by and pick them out. The shop also gives a 10% discount on yarn purchased for making knockers. And we have a meeting at the shop on the fourth Friday of each month from 10am-12pm. We stuff knockers, prepare packages for shipment and make knockers! Please join us; we love to have newcomers. Yarn Explosion is located at 5227 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, VA 24012.

And finally, several of our knitters/crocheters have never been to the shop but continue to mail in lovely knockers ready for stuffing. We couldn’t survive without our remote members! If you would like to contribute to our effort, please get in touch with Cindy. And as our founder, Christine, would say…”Knockers Up”!

Santa Clarita Valley Knitted Knockers

The Santa Clarita Valley (SCV) is located where you find Six Flags Magic Mountain in northern Los Angeles County. Although Santa Clarita has many services available to breast cancer survivors, there was no one locally making and providing Knitted Knockers! Shocked and surprised to find such a huge gap in options, Santa Clarita Valley Knitted Knockers was created to fill the void and give SCV breast cancer survivors a readily available, free alternative to regular, heavy prosthetics.

We are partnering with local yarn shops, hospitals, clinics and oncologists to get the word out about Knitted Knockers, but we need the help of our local knit and crochet community to create the much needed and desired, light-weight, soft and squishy Knockers! Santa Clarita Valley Knitted Knockers will teach you how to make Knitted Knockers using the approved yarns and patterns. Please contact us for more information on meeting times and locations, and come join our happy Knocker-making family!

If you aren’t really into knitting or crocheting, we can still use your help! Contact Santa Clarita Valley Knitted Knockers to find out how. And of course, donations are always greatly appreciated!

Lastly, but most importantly, if you would like a Knitted Knocker or two of your own, please contact us! YOU are why we are making this wonderful product, and we want to help you look and feel as beautiful as we know you already are!

SCV Knitted Knockers meets the 3rd Saturday of each month, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Open Book, located at 19188 Soledad Canyon Rd. in Canyon Country, CA 91351

I'm an avid knitter in the Portland Metro Area. I taught myself how to knit as teenager and have been knitting up a storm ever since. Happy to help out by providing Knitted Knockers to folks on the west coast.
I will admit that my first pair of knockers came from a desire to happily proclaim "Boobs!" whenever asked what I was knitting. But as I finished that first pair, I found that I really enjoyed knitting them and the impact that a simple hand-knit item such as this could have on someone is really touching. I can use my knitting powers for good. Who knew?
My mother also knits. She has joined me in knitting knockers and might be having more fun knitting them than I am. Much love goes into every pair we knit. We are glad to be of service to women in need of Knitted Knockers.

I am an avid crocheter. I use crocheting as a form of therapy. It helps me unwind. My motto is "Crocheting every day keeps the demons at bay". If I am crocheting every day I cannot think of a better way to spend that time than to make knockers for women who have endured so much. I want to turn my negative energy into something so beautiful and powerful. I have adopted a clinic but I also want to provide to anyone I need of a knocker. Right now I am just an individual crocheting but who knows it may turn into a group as I teach friends and coworkers how to crochet.

Knitted Knockers Nederland

Pinklife is a non-profit organization created by a physiotherapist and onco-psychologist which offers help to women affected with breast cancer during and after the treatment in a non-hospital environment. Their aim is to support, inform, exchange information and offer to the patients and their family tools to go through this difficult time. They organize all kind of support e.g; Soft gym, cooking lessons, providing knitted knockers as well as knitting knockers classes, offering pinkboxes which contain cosmetics which are suitable for women in and after treatment as they are very hard to find and not labeled as such here in Europe. More activities are in the loop. The group exists only since one year and we are already extending our knitted knockers sessions to other cities in Belgium. Our understanding is that we are the first group in Belgium to participate in the knitted knockers program. We have presented the knitted knockers at two races e.g thinkpink race and have had many positive returns which I would like to return to you.

Hi new friend! I’m a 3x cancer survivor, a pinup model for Haus Of Volta, and a mom to a 22 year old and a very disagreeable pug. The breast cancer community has helped me so much in the year since my mastectomy, so there’s no way I would miss an opportunity to give back. The organization I model for, Haus of Volta, is a non-profit organization that encourages women to love themselves, no matter what! Just because their bodies have changed doesn’t mean they are any less of the gorgeous, strong woman they’ve always been! Their motto is “radical self love”. Every woman’s body is beautiful, no exceptions! Sending love and good juju from Anaheim, California!

Knitting Knockers for DC After coming across this website while looking for a way to support my aunt, who had just had a double mastectomy, I've been knitting knockers for the family and friends of acquaintances for years. I'd be honored to work with volunteers to expand this service to survivors in my hometown, Washington, DC, which currently does not have any providers. I am particularly interested in making knitted knockers more readily available to Black women, who are less likely to receive breast reconstruction but often unaware of this product.

We are a non profit organization legally incorporated in the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo).

Our mission is donate to people in need knitted or crocheted pieces. We started as a group in 2012 crocheting for premature babies and we have delivered thousands of hats to public hospitals (NICU). Also we have been knitting for children with cancer.

A few months ago we learned the huge need for women with breast cancer and we started making some samples of the knitted prosthesis and we delivered them to Hospital Oncologico Heriberto Pieter.

If you are from the Dominican Republic and wish to order free knitted knockers for personal use you may mail Agujetas Solidarias en Acción, Inc. Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, for more information.

I’m an individual who began crocheting Knitted Knockers after receiving my free Knocker. I currently send them to the group who filled my order (Knitted Knockers of Fort Wayne/Northeast Indiana). I want to “pay it forward” so that others might be as comfortable wearing their Knitted Knockers as I am wearing changing!

I am a beginning knitter focused on giving to Knitted Knockers. I would love to be a group of people who gather (in an un-connected world) to connect on a personal level while knitting/crocheting. As a beginning knitter/crocheter, I am unable to teach; but perhaps as a group grows, we can remedy that.
